'Rocky: The Musical': Sylvester Stallone Announces Startup Company With Klitschko Siblings
Ach du lieber, Rocky sings? Yep, and he'll be belting the movie anthems 'Gonna Fly Now' and 'Eye from the Tiger' -- except in German. The boxing champion will hit happens within an all-new musical which will debut first in Hamburg. Sylvester Stallone, together with world champion boxing siblings Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko, introduced the project on Monday in Perfume, Germany. Stated Stallone concerning the musical: "Rocky is really a love story and that he could not have arrived at the ultimate bell without Adrian. To determine this story visiting existence on the musical stage makes me proud. Also it will make Rocky proud." The Klitschko siblings will co-produce and train the actor selected for that lead. The planet debut from the German-language production come in Hamburg in November 2012 and Stallone then plans to accept British version on tour all over the world. Thomas Meehan ('The Producers') will write the script, while 'Ragtime's' Tony-top rated lyricist Lynn Ahrens and composer Stephen Flaherty will tackle the musical aspect.
